EVGA releases 8800GS 384MB

Evga has also announced the launch of an 8800GS card, one as ordinary as you've ever seen until they decided to bumped the clocks a little for the ram to 1600MHz while, unfortunately, the core clock is only of 550MHz.
Priced at 160eur it is tempting for some people on a slightly tight budget while it offers the most recent type of cooler that the 8800GT also has - the big fan one. This ensures very quiet operation, while maintaining good temperatures.
The card is the 384MB version. I'd love to see the 768MB one but I don't really think that will ever happen, the price would probably get too close to the one of the 8800GT with 512MBs.
These cards do play their part on the current market since the 9600GT was reported to see it's launch delayed further, to February 21st.
