Club 3D will release versions of Radeon HD3800 series that are overclocked and feature a better cooler, made by ZEROTherm, that was also employed by Powercolor in it's HD 3850 PCS.
Clocks for these cards are set at 800MHz for the core and 2340MHz for the 512MB of GDDR4 memory. The HD3850 features a kind 512MB of GDDR3 clocked at 1800MHz and the core works at 720MHz.
Prices are expected to be 220eur for the 3870 and 180eur for the 3850, making them very appealing graphics cards. The HD3850 with 512MB performs admirably well, even without the bump on the clocks this one has.
