Asus P5E3 Premium reviewed

Anandtech has a review on the latest and greatest for the LGA775 socket. The Asus P5E3 Premium is an X48 based motherboard that features some very interesting overclocking features, already highlighted in a previous article about the X48.
Intel has done a wonderful job with the X48, allowing for even more overclocking than was possible the X38. Further memory controller tweaks unleashed much of the potential of DDR3 memory. Here's an example:

This allows for some very exciting results and overclocking is also very promising.

The board also features probably the best PWM design I have ever seen as a whole - 8 phases for the CPU, three for the RAM and two for the MCH - and is definitely something worth the extra premium if you're an overclocker. It's price is set at $299.
