The new high-end graphics card from AMD/ATI, codenamed R680, will be available for delivery in the 24th of this month, by the Dollarshops store, at a price of 399eur, or 549USD. This is strictly a direct conversion, so the pricing around the world could be lower.This goes in line with recent news reports that give the 23rd as the day when NDAs on the card will be lifted.
399eur is a very good price for a graphics card of this market segment, Nvidia will have to answer soon with it's 9800GX2 card.
The most important piece in this performance puzzle will be the driver, but more details about that will only be available on Wednesday.
