Nvidia 8400GS review - Newer G98, D8M based

As I previously hinted, the new G98 based 8400GS is even more useless for gaming than it's G84 based predecessor. Not that the HD2400Pro puts up a fight, but if they're releasing some new stuff, at least they could've make it better. After all it's a 65nm chip instead of an 80nm one. The video engine update is welcomed, but I think most people would rather have a performance increase while gaming, most dual-core CPUs can handle HD Video playback by themselves.
Expreview doesn't check power consumption, which could be meaningful for HTPC users, but it should come as lower, the core is smaller than the G84 and clocks are higher, but not by much.
The new chip is already available in some 8400GS cards on the market.
