ASRock 4Core1600P35-WiFi+ - Slowly crawling out of the low-end

Our OCWorkbench colleagues have gotten their hands on a new motherboard from ASRock that is a turning point in the companies philosophy.
The new motherboard is based on the P35 chipset, but like some previous offers from the company, it features support for 1600MHz FSB - not official in the chipset. What's left to guarantee is if the chipset is running with standard clocks everywhere else or, for example, with overclocked PCI-Express, like it happened in the 945GC board they sell with support for 1333MHz FSB. This shouldn't be a problem for the P35 though.

The major surprise is the use of only solid capacitors in the board, which should help with the traditionally bad durability of ASRock boards.
Since ASRock has always been a budget motherboard manufacturer, they seem to be pushing things a bit further than before. Let's just wait to see if it's mother company, Asus, will allow this kind of product to come to the market, at which price or if it will be a one time only offer.
ASRock will also be introducing the 4Core1600Twins-P35, which is the same motherboard but with only regular electrolytic capacitors instead of solid ones, along with two SATA ports less, due to the use of the ICH9 southbridge instead of the ICH9R the Wifi+ board features.
Both boards come ready to support Yorkfield quad-core and Wolfdale dual-core CPUs.
Final pricing for both boards is not available at publishing time.
