AMD's Turbo Core techonology details further unveiled.
Norwegian retailer MicroPlex was caught listing the Phenom II X6 1090T too soon, unveiling further details about the new "Thuban" and "Zosma" based processors.
The processor features a Turbo Core boost of 400MHz, up from the base clock of 3.2GHz to 3.6GHz when only one core is running at full load.
Other models with lower clocks are able to run up to 500MHz of extra speed and 400MHz when two cores are at full load:
- Phenom II X6 1090T: 3.2GHz / 3.6GHz / 125w
- Phenom II X6 1075T: 3.0GHz / 3.5GHz / 125w (launch later this year)
- Phenom II X6 1055T: 2.8GHz / 3.3GHz / 125w, 95w
- Phenom II X6 1035T: 2.6GHz / 3.1GHz / 95w
- Phenom II X4 960T: 3.0 GHz/ 3.4GHz / 95w
The price of the 1090T is $378 in MicroPlex but it should be around $350 in the USA.
The 1090T will be a Black Edition CPU.
