ASUS reveals GeForce MARS GTX 295 4GB card
GTX 285 based and Quad-SLI.
The clocks for the chips are exactly the same as the single chip GTX 285 card and brings the same 512bit memory bus width:
Applications for this huge amount of memory are scarce but bring a good option for CUDA programs, for which it will be of good use. Nvidia typically sells Tesla cards with 4GB of RAM targeted at the HPC market but some apps may not require that much and can benefit from the added compute density.
Overclocked 3DMark vantage scores in Quad SLI put this card at 25k in the extreme profile.
ASUS has released concept cards multiple times, like the ASUS Trinity, so retail availability is still a mystery at this time.
