Multi-gpu, PCIe 2.0 capable.
The new P45 chipset from Intel will be paired with the upcoming ICH10 and ICH10R and feature official support for DDR3-1333, when paired with an FSB1333 capable CPU.
Also supported is a single x16 PCIe 2.0 slot or dual x8 slots, providing better multi-gpu support than the previous P35 chipset, which was limited to a second slot with only four lanes.
While we can't take a look at the PWM circuitry used, it does employ Gigabyte's DES, as we can see the leds that indicate the active phases, in the top right corner of the board.
The maximum supported memory has been upgraded to 16GiB, but the lack of official 1600MHz FSB support is disappointing since Asus already provided support with P35 boards.
