Rumor has it that Asus is planning to release a much needed upgrade to it's very successful Eee PC, in the form of bigger screens of 8" and 8.9". They should also be touchscreens, but this doesn't seem particularly useful in this kind of device unless they also fit it some tablet-like ability to rotate the screen.
The models are expected to be the 801 and 803 for the 8" versions and 901 and 903 for the 8.9" versions.
Resolution for both is touted as being 1024x600, turning the Eee PC in a more practical device. That 7" screen doesn't cut it for more intensive use.
Hopefully the price won't go into territories where it faces the cheaper 14.1" and 15.4" laptops.
