Powercolor will soon release a new HD 3870 model to complement it's already extensive line of graphics cards based on AMD/ATI GPUs.The new model carries the suffix SCS3, also called Silence Edition, and features a passive cooler. It's quite a big one and features four heatpipes but the downside is it occupies the slot next to the card. The huge amount of fins the cooler has hints at good cooling performance, although being so close to each other might not yield the desired effect.
The clockes are the same as the stock HD3870 and it's ASP wasn't disclosed yet.
