The Tech Report has an analysis on the performance effects of turning on the fix for the TLB errata on AMD's B2 Phenom and Barcelona. It looks bad, really bad. Sometimes it's the 10% AMD talked about, sometimes less, most of the time it's worse than that. Aggravating the situation is AMD is telling manufacturers to always leave the option on. Say goodbye to the initial performance, even if the bug doesn't happen for you since it was only supposed to happen at 2.4GHz+
K10s are not an option for anyone now, they really screwed up this one. Let's hope that they can fix it in B3 and add some real good clocks on top of it or Intel's prices will keep going up.
