Motherboards

And two other P55 motherboards.

Biostar will be introducing these three new models based on the P55 PCH, all of them with support for Core i3, i5 and i7 processors.
All motherboards support a single x16 PCI-e slot or dual x8 slots, courtesy of the "Lynnfield" based processors. The socket is LGA 1156.

The TPower I55 motherboard - pictured above - is part of the TPower enthusiast series of motherboards and are rumored to be engineered by the legendary Oskar Wu. The last iteration, the TPower P45, shattered overclocking records in the LGA775 platform.
Pay notice to the 12 phase PWM power supply module and the big coolers all connected by heatpipes, characteristics of an excellent overclocking motherboard.

This cheaper model is called the Biostar TP55XE and has an 8 phase PWM processor power supply and no heatpipe coolers but you still get very useful MOSFET coolers all around the CPU socket.

The cheaper model is called T5XE and only has a 6 phase CPU power supply and no MOSFET coolers on two of the phases. There's still CrossFire support and solid capacitors all around but the lack of an 8 pin 12v connector will hinder or make senseless overclocking dangerous.
