Propus' good news.
Hardware-infos has reported that AMD will be releasing two other models of the AMD Athlon II X4 CPU but now with a 65W TDP, still very good for a quad core part.
The two models that have been known for a while were the AMD Athlon II X4 600e and 605e: both 45W models that run at 2.2GHz and 2.3GHz, respectively.
The new models will clock at 2.6GHz and 2.8GHz, corresponding to the Athlon II X4 620 and 630.
First details about the new "Propus" core popped up a while back and I was the first to show you the a die shot. As the the release date approaches more details about the Athlon II X3 400 models, which are based on this same core, should become available soon.
