Toshiba announces 1.8 inches 5400RPM HDD

Toshiba today they intend to release a new 5400RPM hard disk drive on the portable 1.8" form factor, targeted at expensive lightweight laptops like the Macbook Air, where it will be of much use.
The current 1.8" drive the Macbook Air ships with is a 4200RPM model and the SSD is a very expensive drive for most wallets, so this would be a very well received upgrade.
This new drive can also be employed in media players, like the classic iPod, but it is not of much use there - the most important there is the storage space.
The new drives will be available in 120 and 80GB capacities.
