Art Lebedev's Optimus Maximus reviewed

Tags: Optimus Maximus review oled keys keyboard
Finally, after some delays, mixed with some new concepts yet to be delivered, the world's most anticipated keyboard has finally made it's debut.
Still priced at $1564, the keyboard was rather disappointing for my colleagues at Engadget.
While they offer praise to the keyboard's build quality and OLED screens, the keys seem to be below today's standards when it comes to actually using the thing for some work; if you only want marvel at it, then obviously you won't be disappointed.

While, for now, this probably isn't a problem taking into consideration the business model of Art Lebedev Studio - for now it is a luxury, status item - it will be a problem if they want to eventually mass market something like it.
As I see it, this is an unforgivable flaw; just hold on to your wallet till they revise the Maximus, or wait for a better competing solution.
