Graphics Cards

ATI HD3600 & HD3400 series first appearance

MadboxPC managed to get their hands on pictures and specifications of AMD's next line of mainstream and low-end graphics cards.
Specifications for the more interesting of the three, the HD3650 showed in the picture, are:

RV635 Core
800MHz core clock(XT), 600MHz(Pro)
2000MHz GDDR3 @ 128bits, 256-512MB
PCIe 2.0, UVD2

The XT card will probably end up being called HD3670, while the "Pro" should be the one called HD3650. This might not be the case, but they have abandoned suffixes as far as we know, and they don't seem to have any plans to release another card for this market segment that would justify not using the HD3670 name for now.
Pricing should be below the HD3850 256MB, probably at $100 to $129. Since it carries the same performance as the HD2600XT, it's all but fast, by current standards, and Nvidia will be introducing the G96 chip soon, which should end up a lot faster. If they can keep the HD3670 256MB at $100 or less, this could still be attractive.
